So Lucy in the dawn of the morning
I wanna chase you all over, but Lucy's gone

Alone and free, from the lives we lead
and they bring no yesterdays
But thoughts like that, just fall flat
when I think of games we played
I've bashed and crashed, fought and I lost
Left alone in the dirt with just my bad thoughts
and no one will recognize me when Lucy's gone

Every now and then, i think of Lucy's grin
and I know that she'll be fine
And now that lucy's gone I know she was the one
and that's what leaves me crying
